Midwest Surf Medical's committment to evidence based practice starts with research. Representing the US Lifesaving Association, Midwest Surf Medical is participating in the US Lifeguard Standards Coalition by examining relevant aquatic topics. At the university level, Midwest Surf Medical has a variety of aquatic research topics being researched through the department of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
