SPECIAL EVENT MEDICAL
Open water lifeguards from the nation's busiest beaches can provide water rescue response. Lifeguard services are available to provide beach service, rescue boats, and paddle board supervision/assistance. Our Aquatic Safety Officers can design a comprehensive plan covering prevention and response. Our goal is not to just address risk management liability issues...but save lives.
Midwest Surf Medical (MSM) is experienced in providing special events' medical services. Concert venues and community events require medical response more than a first aid booth. MSW's "Special Events Medical Team" can be designed to meet the size and possible acuity of your event. Uniformed EMT coverage from Basic to Advanced Life Support is available. All events are overseen by Physician Medical Control experienced in emergency medical direction. Bike patrols are available as well as free standing and mobile Advanced Cardiac Life Support local teams of Fire, EMS, and Police.
Unique to MSW is the interface of special events medical and local response team, Fire, EMS, and Police. Prior to the event day, a disaster plan is developed to take into account mass casualty and coordination of services.
